Ten Year Anniversary

The opinions and views of this blog is for information and entertainment only and should not be used as a substitute for seeking advice from your veterinarian about your horse and your situation. Specific advice may only be given after a valid veterinary - client - patient relationship is made.I started floating teeth in 1983 when my mentor at the vet school at Cornell University told me how important it is in the overall health of the horse. For the next 15 years, I floated a lot of teeth. But 10 years ago, November 1998, I decided to float teeth exclusively.
I was in New York and worked outside of Albany. I was invited to Stuart to work on some racehorses at Payson Park. A year later I moved here to Florida and the practice has grown ever since. It seems like yesterday. Many of you reading this were part of the original crew. Thank you for making this so successful. For those of you who just joined, a hearty welcome. Here I am 40,000 floats and 26 years and still growing.
Finally, a special thank you to my family whose support has been unwavering as I travel throughout the United States helping horses with their dental needs. Happy 10th Anniversary!
